2: Three Scenes, Three Schemes

On land, not far from the aforementioned university... One pirate slumps over in the sand, whom upon awakening will discover that he has a severly aching head. This head condition, which may be the least of his troubles, was earned during a skirmish that took place moments earlier. Tracing the footsteps in the sand leads to what one might presumes to be the hero of our story, Carl “razor blood” McStallion. Follow his gaze and you'll discover a gathering of the meanest looking pirates that can be imagined, ones that have not yet noticed the presence of their

unwelcomed onlooker. Meanwhile, the gaze of Carl's pet monkey, Martevel, can be found transfixed upon a bunch of ripe coconuts. As Martevel scampers off to claim the coveted fruit for himself, Carl introduces himself to the unscrupulous crew. “Good evening gentlemen, I will provide the entertainment for tonight in the form of a routine that I call 'the dance a thousand blades.' We may begin as soon as one of you ladies steps forward to follow my lead.”

In a cavern, underground and dimly lit... A team of rouge pirate scientists plan the means necessary to put Phase One of Vision 2016 underway. The deeply rooted diplomatic relations with Red China have allowed for the importing of evil storm clouds that will form the bulk of the watery assault. Momentarily, contacts from the arctic will deliver fragments of the polar ice caps which will be melted down and distributed to the surrounding states through a series of aqueducts known as “The Pirate Floodgates.” Captain H_____ will have a stack off paper work on his desk in the morning to proceed with Phase One at sundown.

Aboard a ship, just off the coast of Norway... The crew is idle and restless, pirates are not particularly fond of waiting. The captain looks out across the moonlit waters and addresses his first mate, “They'll be here soon. I will have retired to my cabin when they come, you know what needs to be done.” Says the first mate to his captain, “We will prepare our crew for their arrival sssir.”
